…I had all these grand ideas on some subjects I wanted to discuss on my blog but these last few days have been packed with everything but blogging. I guess the highlights of the last few days would include the bears winning, and I know theres been much said on this topic by people that actually care or know a thing or two about football, since I’m neither I will abstain from saying anything more than congratulations.

Another high point was when I decided to buy a few shares of AAPL stock before Q1 result announcement on Wednesday, anticipating the rise, therefore an immediate payoff…. but in fact that did not happen, but possibly the most ironic part of this whole story is the fact that I bought those shares with my bill money:), so now I’m hoping to see apple trading in green within the next few days, otherwise gas/electricity and yes, internet people will not be seeing their checks this month. And on that note there is a handy little “donation” button to the right, so feel free to awaken that spirit of giving you’ve probably put on hold for the next 12 month…

Although my investment smarts seemed to be on a break, tomorrow I am flying out to SF for some quality business experiences. There is much to be said for what’s on the docket over the next couple of days, sadly I can’t divulge most of it…however probably the most important factor I am focusing on is to be able to make my UW application deadline (feb 1st) in the midst of all the work…
